Last Full Month of School!

I cannot believe it is already May 1st! This is our last full month of school and we have many fun activities planned from this Sunday's Open House to Health and Fitness Week May 11th through the 15th. I hope your son or daughter has already informed you of the most exciting event during May - the performance of A Froggy Day in Lindentown by our very own first and second grade classes. The dress rehearsal will be at 1:00 on Thursday May 28th and the actual performance will be that evening at 7:00! Write it down on your calendar because every single child will have a speaking part in this year's play along with many songs to memorize. Some of you may have already seen speaking parts go home to be practiced. Please help your son or daughter at home with their lines because they will need to be memorized. If you have not seen your son or daughter's part, ask them about it. We have already had two practices and everyone knows their character! We will continue to work hard over the next month. Look for letters in a couple of weeks asking for volunteers to help with costume and set making. And don't forget to mark your calendars for Thursday May 28th at 7:00!
